Balsawood

The future Balsawood Community (located on Chapel Hill Road in Spring Lake, NC) is in the planning stage.  Tightlines Designs recently participated in a Design Charrette to determine the appropriate home designs for the neighborhood.  The goal for Balsawood is to create an affordable and sustainable neighborhood that will promote community interaction.

A variety of unit types have been selected, including one and two story single family homes and townhouses to allow for a diverse group of homeownership. Additionally, the selected homes may be easily adapted for passive solar measures.  These home selections will create diversity for a natural market selection, while maintaining a consistency in style and details to create a cohesive community.
