Exciting news! Last week, project architect Becky Bascom attended the ribbon cutting of Wakefield Spring Senior Living Community.  Becky worked diligently with long-time client Evergreen Construction to help bring this 80-unit, four-story tax credit project to life in northwest Raleigh. In addition to the residents and staff, also in attendance to celebrate was Samuel Gunter of the North Carolina Housing Coalition, Scott Farmer of the NC Housing Finance Agency, and Senator Richard Burr.

According to Evergreen, hundreds of applications for residency were received in the first week of open registration. A few residents gave some touching words at the event about how grateful they are to have Wakefield Spring as their new home, and praised the building and location as convenient and comfortable. It was clear that the residents have already established a close-knit community!

We look forward to continuing our relationships with all parties involved in helping provide affordable housing to those who need it most in our state.
