We had the priviledge of participating in the NAHB Green Building Conference on May 16-18 right here in our home city of Raleigh, NC.  There were some awesome sessions led by national level experts covering just about anything concerning greening of new and existing residential construction including techniques, products, incentives, certification, and delivery methods.

The local tour of green homes had a variety of homes including a TightLines designed Gold Certified NAHB home here in Raleigh built by Wake County Habitat.  This home was also featured the same weekend for the Triangle Green Home Tour, along with another TightLines home in Pittsboro built by Chatham County Habitat.

TightLines Designs exhibited through the event, connecting with an amazing variety of professionals from all over the country.  It was a fascinating experience, not only to hear the interest in what we’re doing, but also to witness how we’re all in this together – everyone doing their part whether it’s design, construction, information dissemination, or product development – to make our industry better on the environment and healthier and more efficient for the homeowner.

Thank you to all of those who stopped by to introduce yourselves and listen to what we had to say, even if it was just for the candy…

We’ll definitely see you again at next year’s conference, if not before.
