On November 6, 2010, over 130 people attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Chatham County (NC) Habitat’s 99th and 100th home.  These homes are located in the Chatham Oaks neighborhood, a community of 15 homes featuring TightLines Designs. TightLines has been working closely with Chatham County Habitat over the last several years to select and provide an appropriate cohesive community of home designs, which included modifications of the Winslow, the Warren, the Whitney, the Hawkins, the Haywood, and the Juniper.  A new compatible design named the Jill was also created for this community.  To learn more about Chatham Oaks, visit our Community Design page.

Founded in 1989, each Chatham County Habitat home is built thanks to the extraordinary effort of the partner families, the staff, and community volunteers.

Bett Essen, Chatham County Habitat’s Development Coordinatorsaid of TightLines:

“People love your houses! Definitely improving Chatham County’s image. How wonderful for our partner families that well-designed homes CAN be affordable! Hurray!”

It’s been a true pleasure working with this group and an honor to provide the home design for their 100th home!
