The TightLines Clarke I design was recently awarded by the Department of Energy for innovation in affordable housing. The award, named “The Rudy Project” in honor of the late Hickory mayor Rudy Wright, was accepted by Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley at the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA) High Performance Home Summit in Denver, Colorado.

The DOE Housing Innovation Awards honor the very best in innovation on the path to zero energy ready homes by recognizing forward-thinking builders who are delivering American homebuyers with a better homeowner experience.

This is the third home in the Northstone Community that has been given this DOE ZERH Housing Innovation Award. Congrats to all involved!
