Located along N Daisy St just outside of Downtown Goldsboro, the Trinity Court Apartments were built in the post-war period of the 1940’s. Well-equipped at the time, this 22-unit complex had fallen into disrepair over the years and by 2015 the Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro was ready renovate. In order to maintain the original charm of the two-bedroom apartments, the existing hardwood floors were refinished, the plaster walls and trim were repainted, and the exterior brick veneer was repaired. Each unit received new cabinetry, appliances, and fixtures, as well as updated siding and new front porches so that residents can gather, engage their neighbors, and further cultivate a sense of community.
